Job summary

Tata Technologies in Hodges, SC is seeking an experienced Foundry Engineer to lead casting and tooling initiatives. You will apply your knowledge of no-bake and cold box processes, analyze scrap defects, and drive process improvements across the foundry.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant foundry experience.

• Foundry Engineer Experience. (Tools Quotation, Casting Scrap defects analysis & resolution, Foundry process knowledge, no-bake process, cold box process)
• Foundry tooling Design Experience. (Pattern and core boxes, Complex modeling, intuitive knowledge of P/L, offsets, clearances, layout in tool build, no-bake process, cold box process)
• Creo modeling and flow simulation analysis using SolidCast

Additional Technical Skills

(Required)

• Machining print reading and geometric tolerance understanding
• Casting simulation experiences (SolidCast prefers)
• CNC milling knowledge

Soft Skills:

• Able to work with and direct suppliers on Tooling Build Projects
