Job summary

Reliable Safety & Flow Corporation in Columbia, PA is seeking a Quality Engineer to strengthen quality systems and drive continuous improvement. You will lead root cause analysis, implement SPC/MSA methods, and collaborate across operations, engineering, and suppliers to ensure conformance to customer and regulatory requirements.

The role requires hands-on experience in foundry environments, PPAP involvement, and strong communication skills to support ongoing quality initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent foundry/quality experience.
  • Working knowledge of APQP, SPC, PFMEA, and Control Plans.
  • Strong analytical, communication and cross-functional teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve core quality system documents (Control Plans, PFMEAs, inspection methods).
  • Lead structured problem solving using 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, and similar methods.
  • Improve process capability with SPC, control charts, and sampling plans.
  • Support PPAP activities and interpret customer specifications.
  • Assist supplier quality activities including SCAR management and audits.
