Job summary

Reliable Safety and Flow Corporation in Columbia, PA seeks a Vice President of Engineering to lead engineering, process development and technical operations in a high‑volume foundry environment.

You will direct tooling, metallurgical processes, quality engineering, CI, capital projects, and cross‑functional technical support, driving productivity, safety and product integrity across casting and machining operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Metallurgical, or related).
• 10+ years engineering experience in heavy industrial manufacturing; foundry experience strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience managing technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the engineering strategy to support operational excellence and long‑term growth.
• Manage and mentor engineering, tooling, process, and metallurgical teams.
• Establish engineering standards, best practices, and technical direction for the foundry.
• Lead cross‑functional initiatives supporting operational, financial, and quality targets.
• Oversee optimization of melting, molding, core‑making, pouring, heat‑treating, and finishing operations.
