Asama Coldwater Manufacturing (ACM) in Coldwater, MI is seeking a Foundry Production Manager to lead casting operations from melting through finishing, driving safety, quality, productivity and employee development.

This hands-on role oversees supervision of production teams, improves OEE, reduces scrap, and advances Lean initiatives while ensuring world-class operational performance and profitability.

Qualifications

• Previous foundry manufacturing experience.
• Manufacturing leadership experience managing production teams.
• Strong knowledge of production planning and scheduling.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily and weekly production to meet customer demand.
• Supervise and develop production supervisors and hourly employees.
• Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Reduce scrap and improve first-pass quality.
• Monitor production KPIs, labor efficiency, and throughput.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives including 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement.
• Foster a culture focused on safety, accountability, and operational excellence.
