Job summary

Orchid Orthopedic Solutions LLC in Oregon City is seeking an Operations Technician II, Metalworking to operate forges, foundries and furnaces and to support related manufacturing steps to meet customer specifications.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of prior manufacturing experience.
• Experience in forging or foundry work is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Flash Fire unit; ensure dewaxed molds follow FIFO and casting schedule.
• Inspect molds before/after dewax; load/unload molds for preheat furnaces.
• Operate induction furnace to cast molten alloy into molds.
• Repair furnaces with linings and replace crucibles as required.
• Sort molds and castings to maintain lot integrity.
• Log daily production, inventory, and quality data accurately.
• Follow safety rules; support Lean Manufacturing and EHS initiatives.
• Train others as directed by supervision.
