Job summary

Tecomet and Orchid unite to continue producing orthopedic implants with a focus on metalworking, casting, and finishing operations. The Operations Technician II will operate high-temperature furnaces, oversee mold dewaxing, casting, and furnace maintenance, while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of relevant manufacturing experience, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required; preferred additional training.
• Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Operational roles requiring attention to detail and adherence to SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain forges, foundries and furnaces to produce parts.
• Inspect molds and castings, load/unload, and follow casting schedules.
• Maintain daily production logs and inventory.
• Follow safety rules and participate in Lean and QMS initiatives.
• Assist in training and ensure proper housekeeping and equipment maintenance.
