Job summary

Caterpillar is hiring a Melting Specialist for the 2nd or 3rd shift in Mapleton, IL. You will operate the melting control station, monitor processes, and ensure quality and safety throughout an 8–12 hour shift. Prior foundry or manufacturing experience is valued.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 35 pounds, stand long shifts, and work with heavy machinery in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem solving and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years of prior work experience.
• Knowledge of melting operations or foundry processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate melting control station and monitor processes.
• Analyze control signals and adjust operations.
