Caterpillar is seeking a Manager Maintenance in Mapleton, IL, overseeing a multi-skilled maintenance team at the foundry. Lead safe, reliable production equipment operation and coordinate plans with contractors to support performance goals.

You will drive safety culture, track key metrics, perform root-cause analysis, and manage resources and budget while partnering with Operations, Engineering, Reliability, and Planning for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in maintenance and team development.
• Background in foundry maintenance and safety standards.
• Experience with reliability engineering and TPM concepts.
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical systems and PLCs.

Responsabilités

• Lead and coordinate daily maintenance activities across the foundry, ensuring safe, efficient operation of production equipment and facilities.
• Develop and prioritize work plans for maintenance staff and contractors to meet production needs.
• Review, audit, and validate maintenance work for quality and adherence to standards.
• Provide direction and coaching to off-shift managers to ensure alignment with goals.
• Monitor safety, preventive maintenance, schedule compliance, and equipment availability.
• Lead root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage resources, spare parts, and inventory to support operations.
• Oversee maintenance budgeting and cost management to improve efficiency.
• Ensure training and certifications are current; develop team leadership.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Reliability, and Planning teams.
