Job summary

Watts Water Technologies in Franklin, NH, is seeking a skilled Foundry Maintenance Mechanic to maintain, test and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. You will work on a third shift (9pm–5:30am) with overtime as needed, reporting to the Foundry Maintenance Supervisor.

On-site employment in a manufacturing setting is required. The role requires 3+ years of multi-disciplinary experience, PLC programming ability, and a strong commitment to safety and accuracy

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven experience in electrical/electronics, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic fields.
• Computer experience/operation and PLC programming are necessary.
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic components and equipment and diagnostic instruments.
• Ability to communicate with line operators and work with others.
• Willing to work overtime as required.
• High degree of precision with minimum tolerances.
• Awareness of laws, codes, policies, safety practices.
• Employment eligibility and background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic equipment.
• Plan and perform work with knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical theories.
• Install, startup and shut down equipment following safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
• Advise operators on safe operation procedures.
• Inform management of potential problems and hazards.
• Maintain performance and maintenance records.
• Perform preventive maintenance as directed.
• Assist maintenance personnel and train others as needed.
• Take on additional projects as assigned.
• Travel up to 10% for training.
