Job summary

Franklin Precision Castings is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our investment casting foundry equipment, machinery, and facilities running efficiently. You will support production teams and respond quickly to breakdowns on 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday, 9:00 PM–5:00 AM) in Franklin, PA.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in industrial maintenance, strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs while

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical troubleshooting.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, climbing, and reaching.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on foundry equipment, machinery, and facility systems.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues.
Maintain and service production equipment such as furnaces, compressors, pumps, conveyors, grinders, and other industrial machinery.
Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime and support production needs.
Complete work orders and document repairs, maintenance tasks, and parts usage accurately.
Inspect equipment regularly to identify wear, safety concerns, or potential failures.
Assist with installation, setup, and relocation of machinery or production equipment.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized maintenance shop and work environment.
Work collaboratively with supervisors and production teams to prioritize repairs and improvements.
Follow all company safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and quality standards.
