Job summary

Watts is seeking a Foundry Maintenance Mechanic to maintain, test, and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems on site in Franklin, NH. You will triage issues, apply electrical and mechanical knowledge, and support all manufacturing areas.

The role reports to the Foundry Maintenance Supervisor with evening shift hours 2:10 pm – 12:40 am. Candidates should have 3+ years of relevant experience and PLC programming skills, and be comfortable in a fast-paced plant

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven experience in electrical/electronics, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic fields.
• Computer experience and PLC programming are required.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is essential.
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic components and diagnostic instruments.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic equipment.
• Plans and performs work with knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical theories and codes.
• Installs, starts up and shuts down equipment per safety procedures and OSHA rules.
• Advises operators on safe procedures and requirements for equipment.
• Maintains maintenance records and performs preventive maintenance.
• Assists with troubleshooting and may train other maintenance staff.
• Travel up to 10% for training.
