Wieland, a global copper and copper alloy leader, invites applications for a Foundry Quality Technician / Lab Technician - Casting in Buffalo, NY. This onsite role supports lab operations, analyzes metals and oils, and ensures reliable test results while adhering to ISO and IATF standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or associate degree with lab experience required.
• Experience with analytical lab equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of lab testing methods and instrumentation.
• Familiarity with ISO/IATF quality management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory analytical equipment.
• Perform chemical and material analyses using various techniques.
• Inspect production samples for surface defects and take corrective actions.
• Support automated laboratory operations and manual testing as needed.
• Document test results and maintain lab records to quality standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement and ISO/IATF compliance initiatives.
