Job summary

ASC Engineered Solutions is seeking a Production Supervisor Core for the Foundry. The role oversees the core maker on Laempe equipment, producing cores for molding lines on the 3rd shift (Mon-Fri with weekends as scheduled).

You will plan production activities, supervise multi-machine operations, and partner with departments to set priorities. Candidates should have a business/engineering background and demonstrate leadership and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 1-3 years of manufacturing experience with multiple machines.
• Outstanding PC/Systems knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead production activities across shifts and teams.
• Supervise setup, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of automation and machining equipment.
• Coordinate with Production Manager, Production Planning, and Materials to set priorities.
• Drive safety, efficiency, and quality goals; reduce scrap and rework.
• Implement lean techniques (5S, standardized work, value stream mapping) to improve processes.
• Assist QA and Manufacturing Engineering in testing and improving methods.
