Wabtec Fulmer/Perma-Cast in Export, PA is seeking a Foundry Laborer to assist in the foundry, setting up and operating hot metal molds and producing parts for customers. You will work under supervision, ensuring proper operation and quality control in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include safety-conscious molding, inspection of components, and adherence to Job Safety Analysis guidelines. The role offers competitive pay, health benefits, retirement options, and potential bonus

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience or training, or equivalent.
• This position requires accuracy and responsibility with limited supervision.
• Training or experience using foundry hot metal molds and furnaces is preferred.
• 3–6 months on-the-job training under close supervision.

Responsabilités

• Set up and safely operate hot metal molds.
• Apply foundry principles of melting, pouring, and solidifying.
• Inspect finished work for quality and conformity.
• Follow the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) guidelines for details.
• Duties may expand beyond the listed responsibilities.
