Job summary

Wabtec in Roanoke, VA is seeking a Foundry Production Associate to join our team. You will work on molds production, sub-assembly, soldering, testing, and packaging as required, following detailed work instructions.

You must follow ISO procedures, maintain a clean work area, and report any equipment malfunctions or process deviations. The role includes standing, lifting up to 20 lbs., and a 10-hour day shift. Relocation to Roanoke may be required.

Qualifications

• Proven math, reading, and computer skills.
• Ability to receive and execute written or verbal instruction.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for various portions of the foundry production process, including but not limited to the production of molds.
• Follows specified work instructions which may include sub-assembly of product, soldering, testing, and packaging as required.
• Follow applicable ISO procedures
• Keep work area clean and in order
• Follow all company safety procedure and guidelines
• Report malfunction of equipment and process deviations to appropriate personnel.
