Job summary
Digital Harbor Foundation seeks a Founding Vice President of Engineering to own platform architecture, DTAP workflow, and an enterprise-grade evaluation stack. Qualifications
- 12+ years of software engineering experience with 4+ years in senior leadership at a startup, evaluation/audit firm, ML infra, or research platform.
- Experience building/operating a platform with plugin/extension/component model and AI evaluation, red-teaming, ML observability in production.
- Track record hiring and retaining senior engineers in a distributed team, including ML or agentic-systems experts.
Responsibilities
- Own platform architecture and delivery; DTAP workflow, component registry, and API surfaces.
- Lead engineering org recruitment, development, and retention across backend/frontend/DevOps/ML roles.
- Translate HITL red-teaming and benchmarks into contracts supporting test artifacts and agentic components.
- Lead security, vendor risk reviews, and alignment with PBC/nonprofit resource separation.
- Represent IAEF technically to customers, funders, and partners; guide investor deck content and roadmaps.
