Hadrian in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, is building its Workforce Development Team and seeks a founding trainer. You will onboard and train technicians, refine the program, and help scale our training across LA and Arizona sites and vendor locations.

The role emphasizes curriculum development, documentation, and delivering safety and general training on site. You will travel up to 25% to LA, Arizona and vendor locations, shaping the trainee experience and maintaining accurate training records for

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a training, instructing or teaching role, with a strong track record of training adult learners.
• Proven ability to train people from entry level to mid level.
• Experience delivering structured training programs, including onboarding, classroom and hands-on instruction, and evaluation.
• The ability to learn new content quickly and teach it to standard, including subjects outside your own background.
• Experience contributing to training curriculum and documentation, and keeping accurate training records.
• The ability to observe how people learn and give clear, objective, actionable feedback on a training program.
• A self-starter who manages their own time, travel and priorities with minimal oversight.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%, including to Los Angeles, Arizona and vendor locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding and training for technician cohorts from onboarding through qualification.
• Capture what works and what does not and provide feedback to shape the program before go-live.
• Set up training space and the logistics new starters rely on.
• Spend time at LA and Arizona sites learning training in production and vendor locations.
• Contribute to curriculum development and training documentation.
• Record training in the skills tracking system and keep audit-ready training records.
• Deliver onboarding, general and safety training across capabilities as technicians come onsite.
• Offer day-to-day direction and support to trade-specific trainers and evaluate outcomes.
