Job summary

UniversalAGI, Inc. is hiring a Founding Technical Sourcer in San Francisco to build the talent engine from day one. You will identify, engage, and close specialized AI researchers, CFD engineers, and deep-tech experts, directly with the CEO and founding team.

You’ll design sourcing strategies, manage 50+ active candidates, and drive an aggressive hiring plan while delivering an exceptional candidate experience in a fast-growing startup.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of high-volume technical recruiting or sourcing experience with proven track record of closing specialized talent quickly.
• Personal history of closing 30+ technical hires with rapid pipeline-to-offer conversions.
• Experience sourcing AI/ML engineers, researchers, and deep- tech roles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Source, engage, and close high volumes of specialized technical talent across AI/ML and physics domains.
• Build and execute sourcing strategies for niche talent pools and track outcomes.
• Own the candidate pipeline from identification to offer while maintaining a positive candidate experience.
• Collaborate with CEO and Hiring Manager to align role requirements with market realities.
• Develop and maintain a robust talent pipeline ahead of hiring needs.
