Job summary

MISUMI Americas is standing up a new, U.S.-incorporated manufacturing platform to serve frontier-technology industries. We are hiring the founding SVP to lead the Austin build, stand up the initial facility, and scale to a campus with a multi-customer production platform.

You will own P&L, governance, and leadership of the workforce as we grow to 200+ staff. This remote-eligible role requires deep experience in precision manufacturing, FATP, and DFM, with a track record of delivering on complex

Qualifications

• 15+ years in manufacturing operations leadership with direct P&L ownership.
• Experience standing up new facilities from ground up, greenfield or brownfield.
• Deep fluency in precision manufacturing, FATP, NPI, and DFM.

Responsibilities

• Lead facility stand-up and scale-up from Austin startup to campus expansion.
• Own customer delivery and onboarding of frontier-technology clients.
• Build out manufacturing and quality systems to frontier-technology standards.
• Manage multi-year workforce ramp to 200+ employees with local partnerships.
• Oversee governance, export controls, and cybersecurity for government-adjacent work.
• Own P&L and report to Board and MISUMI Americas leadership.
