Job summary

Coram AI in Sunnyvale is seeking a founding Supply Chain Manager to architect and own the hardware sourcing, planning, and inventory strategy for our AI hardware platform. You will collaborate with OEMs, JDMs, contract manufacturers, and distributors, reporting directly to the CEO, and you’ll build the function from the ground up.

Qualifications

• Hands-on hardware supply chain experience with servers, GPUs, HDDs, memory, or data-center hardware.
• Strong vendor negotiation skills with OEM/JDM/distributor relationships.
• Ability to secure supply in constrained markets and understand cash-flow implications of inventory.

Responsibilities

• Source across OEM vendors, JDM vendors and distributors (GPU and server distributors).
• Run full range of sourcing: fully-built and parts sourcing.
• Source across primary and secondary markets as availability and cost dictate.
• Negotiate commercial terms and monitor timelines, delivery and quality.
• Secure supply in advance in allocation-driven markets (GPUs, memory, storage, servers).
• Own the commercial structure of commitments, including down-payment strategy and cash-flow implications.
• Own inventory strategy and readiness to meet demand and maximize revenue.
• Stand up demand and supply planning, inventory controls, and ERP integration requirements.
• Build processes, playbooks, and eventually the team from zero, partnering with CEO & finance.
