Job summary

Yora Nordic Spa is opening in Portland, CT, and seeks a Maintenance & Pool Technician to join the founding team. You will help prepare pools, water-treatment systems and spa equipment for guests in November 2026, starting in late October.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of pool-water chemistry, filtration and mechanical systems is an asset.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to develop new technical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe operating practices.
• Ability to follow technical procedures, testing requirements and preventative-maintenance documentation accurately.
• Comfort with technology, work-order systems and monitoring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Test and document pool-water chemistry at required intervals and adjust per procedures.
• Monitor filtration, circulation, chemical-delivery, heating and other pool systems.
• Inspect and ensure safe operation of pools, saunas, steam rooms and equipment.
• Complete preventive maintenance, inspections, work orders and checklists on time.
• Perform routine repairs within training scope and report failures or hazards.
• Maintain logs, water-quality records and maintenance documentation.
• Communicate water-quality concerns and service interruptions clearly and promptly.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Housekeeping and Front Desk as priorities change.
