Job summary

American Bird Conservancy seeks a founding Software Engineer to build the first cloud-based biodiversity platform. You will design scalable backend services, data models, and cloud infrastructure to support conservation projects globally.

You’ll work with conservation scientists and technologists to prototype and iterate features, integrating AI/ML workflows and ensuring production quality with robust deployment and monitoring practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of three years designing, developing and maintaining production software.
• Experience building cloud-based applications and APIs.
