Job summary

The American Baby Company in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a senior embryologist to lead the IVF lab buildout, establish quality systems, and set day‑to‑day standards from the ground up. This founding role requires clinical excellence, leadership, and a passion for building a modern fertility platform.

You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and operations to support embryo culture, cryopreservation, and patient outcomes while mentoring the lab team and ensuring regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in medical technology, biological sciences, reproductive science, or related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of clinical embryology experience.
• Minimum of 2+ years of micromanipulation experience.
• Strong experience with IVF lab procedures: ICSI, embryo culture, grading, vitrification, warming.
• Strong leadership, training, documentation, and communication skills.
• Active or eligible Florida CLP license in embryology/andrology.
• Ability to comply with Florida DOH continuing education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform advanced embryology procedures in a new IVF lab.
• Coordinate daily lab workflow and case preparation.
• Supervise and train embryology staff; ensure QA/QC compliance.
• Maintain documentation accuracy in EMR and lab systems.
• Support regulatory audits and readiness (CAP, FDA, CLIA).
• Oversee equipment, environmental monitoring, and safety initiatives.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and operations; support patient care.
