Job Description

Reveal Security is looking for our first Sales Engineer in the US Market. This role goes beyond traditional sales and offers the opportunity to be a critical strategic partner in building our business and team.

About the Role:

We’re seeking a high-energy and ambitious individual to be the driving force of our sales engagements. As the tip of the spear for our new product, you will be instrumental in shaping first impressions and championing our company, our people, and our cutting-edge technology.

More than just a sales role, you will be a key strategic partner, working closely with Product, Marketing, and Leadership to shape our go-to-market strategy. You will proactively identify, qualify, and close sales, playing a vital role in establishing repeatable sales methodologies and articulating our unique value proposition based on direct customer interactions.

As our Sales Engineer you are responsible for actively driving and managing the technical evaluation stage of the sales process. She/he works with the CEO and sales team to drive the sales of our product and is a technical subject matter expert on security challenges and solutions. The ideal candidate is aggressive, collaborative, knowledgeable, and ideally has worked in an operational role within a Cybersecurity program/organization. Offensive security knowledge and capabilities along with scripting or software engineering abilities are a plus.

Job Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain the demo environment.
  • Create and maintain the sales documentation and scoping documents needed.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining our solution to prospects.
  • Partner with the prospect to assess security needs, determine requirements and align our solutions to prospect pain points.
  • Conduct poc/pov engagements to obtain wins.
  • Helps to drive the Sales process by moving opportunities through the procurement processes and through the various stages to closed-won.
  • Establish strong communications to provide field feedback and insights to Product, Engineering, and Marketing.
  • Attend and speak at cybersecurity industry events and Reveal customer- and prospect-facing events
Job Requirments
  • 5+ years of enterprise sales experience in cybersecurity technology.
  • Proven track record of closing complex, high-value deals.
  • Experience closing sales of new technologies within mid-market / enterprise accounts.
  • Experience working in early-stage startup environments.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise cybersecurity challenges.
  • The ability to learn quickly and effectively articulate and differentiate the value of our product to prospects.
  • A strong blend of communication abilities and technical skills to be the field-facing technical representative for Reveal Security.
  • Expert-level knowledge of cybersecurity, especially Identity, Cloud and SaaS, and SecOps security concerns.
  • Experience interacting with APIs, integrations, and middleware.
  • Experience with cybersecurity solution stacks and how Reveal Security is complementary or competitive.
  • Willingness to travel depending on customer opportunities and industry events.

Pay Transparency

The pay range for this position is a guideline, and for candidates who receive an offer, the pay will be determined based on factors such as work location, as well as the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is eligible for sales incentive compensation:

$160K Base; $230K OTE; 70%/30% compensation plan.
