Job summary

7Seventy Recruiting seeks an experienced Founding Recruiter to lead sourcing, candidate engagement, and recruiting operations across engineering, product, sales, and customer success. You will independently manage multiple searches, engage passive candidates, and connect talent with hiring managers.

The role emphasizes converting passive outreach into initial conversations while hiring managers drive closing decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional recruiting experience in-house or agency.
• Experience sourcing engineers, product management, and GTM roles that progressed to offers.
• Proven experience managing full-cycle searches independently.
• Success engaging passive senior-level candidates via cold outreach.
• Experience selecting, configuring, and managing recruiting tools and systems.
• Practical experience using AI-powered tools for market research, outreach, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Source and engage passive candidates across software engineering, product, sales, customer success, and other functions.
• Develop highly personalized outreach strategies to convert prospects into initial conversations with hiring managers.
• Research talent markets and build targeted sourcing lists using AI-powered tools like Juicebox and Metaview.
• Prioritize candidate engagement and outreach conversion over sourcing volume and manage a quality pipeline.
• Screen candidates and coordinate with hiring managers to progress top candidates.
• Partner with hiring managers for intake meetings and calibrate candidate requirements.
• Manage multiple concurrent searches across technical and non-technical roles.
• Own the ATS selection, implementation, configuration, and administration (Ashby, Greenhouse, etc.).
• Select and manage recruiting technologies for sourcing, enrichment, sequencing, scheduling, and workflows.
• Build AI-native recruiting processes for market mapping, research, outreach, and automation.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve recruiting automation tools and workflows.
• Maintain accurate ATS records and efficient hiring workflows for a positive candidate experience.
• Monitor recruiting performance and funnel analytics to improve effectiveness.
• Exercise independent judgment in evaluating candidate quality and prioritizing recruiting initiatives.
