Job summary

Peregrine is seeking the founding product marketer to define and execute the go-to-market strategy for its AI-powered data platform. You will partner with product, deployment strategists, and sales within live deals to craft compelling positioning and evidence-based messaging that resonates across multiple industries beyond public safety.

You will run deep customer discovery, build repeatable messaging, and deliver commercial-ready deployments with case studies and references.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product marketing or adjacent go-to-market roles.
• Experience taking a product into a new market or launching a new product.
• Ability to conduct customer discovery and build positioning from field insights.
• Ability to synthesize qualitative input into clear strategic direction.
• Comfort across the full product marketing stack: positioning, deal support, enablement, campaigns.
• Strong judgment on which verticals Peregrine should pursue.
• Technical fluency to discuss data platforms and AI on sensitive data.

Responsibilities

• Run customer discovery with prospects and early customers to understand workflows, pain points, and decision criteria.
• Build market positioning and messaging from field evidence for commercial buyers.
• Test messaging in live deals and refine it via win-loss reviews and buyer research.
• Provide first-call narratives, demo storylines, and competitive intelligence for unfamiliar industries.
• Develop market knowledge: incumbents, analysts, buying processes, and white space in target verticals.
• Establish feedback loops from sales calls and demos to positioning and product direction.
• Package deployment proof into commercial-ready evidence: case studies, references, and outcome data.
