Job summary

Fifth Dimension is seeking a technically focused pre-sales engineer to own the technical side of enterprise deals across the US. As the first dedicated pre-sales hire, you will report to the CPO and lead discovery, scoping, and architecture to close deals.

You will build live demos with customer data, own RFP/RFI responses and security questionnaires, create playbooks and battle cards, and align with AEs to prioritize pipeline. Expect 25–30% travel to prospect and client sites.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate strong ability to run live, customer-tailored demos.
• Architect solutions translating customer requirements into implementable designs.
• Prepare and respond to RFPs/RFIs and security questionnaires.
• Develop reusable pre-sales assets like playbooks and battle cards.
• Collaborate with AEs to prioritize pipeline and provide technical depth.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for custom demos.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and scoping with prospects to close deals.
• Build and run live demos with prospect data to make a compelling technical case.
• Own RFP/RFI responses and security questionnaires.
• Create the pre-sales playbook, demo environments, and competitive materials.
• Partner with AEs to prioritize pipeline and ensure technical depth in conversations.
• Handover won deals to the implementation team with clear requirements.
