Job summary

Orange Quarter is seeking a founding engineer to join early and help scale an AI-native platform transforming commercial real estate. You will own critical infrastructure and shape the product as the team grows, tackling unstructured data, LLM-based extraction, and enterprise-grade reliability.

Ideal candidates have 1–5 years in software, cross‑stack experience (frontend, backend, and AI/ML) and a passion for building, not just maintaining.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience across frontend, backend, and AI/ML.
• Desire to build and own product, not just maintain.
• Strong fundamentals and interest in LLMs, extraction, agents or ML-adjacent systems.
• Comfort with ambiguity in an early-stage roadmap.
• Willingness to work directly with founders.

• Building evals that actually tell you something about quality.
• Agentic workflows that can be trusted to run without a human double-checking every step.
