Job summary

Runlayer is seeking a Founding Product Manager for Agents to own how agents and skills are built, shipped, and run at scale. You’ll work with the CPO to shape the roadmap from discovery through shipped product, aligning with both engineers and non-technical builders.

You’ll drive the fastest path from idea to working agent, define telemetry, and guide growth through a self-serve path, templates, and tool integrations. Join a tight-knit team shipping fast.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in product management, incl. 3+ on developer tools or platform.
• Founder or early-PM with zero-to-one processes built.
• Shipped 0-1 builder or automation surfaces with strong PLG insights.
• Technical depth to read code and understand API/SDK design.
• Customer obsession with discovery calls and customer references.
• Strong writing; capable of PRDs and clear proposals.
• AI-native mindset; experience with agents daily.

Responsibilities

• Own the builder: natural language to working agent, self-improvement, versioning.
• Own the runtime: event-based triggers, scheduling, model routing, agent delegation.
• Drive growth: Slack Agents, time-to-first-working-agent, self-serve path that turns one builder into a team.
• Define how product telemetry makes agents better over time.
• Serve both audiences: engineers and non-technical builders; run discovery together.
• Make decisions, prioritize, and ship weekly with engineers.
