Job summary

Marietta College invites applications for the founding Program Director of its new MBA program, a full-time administrative position with teaching responsibilities, starting January 2027 and reporting to the Provost.

The Director will oversee curriculum, coordinate adjunct faculty, manage student services and enrollment, build employer partnerships, and lead ACBSP candidacy efforts. This role blends academic leadership with hands-on program development at a small, resourceful institution.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in business or MBA required; doctorate preferred.
• Minimum of three years of professional business experience outside teaching.
• Ability to build relationships with external stakeholders.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate academic scheduling and Canvas maintenance.
• Teach MBA courses annually.
• Recruit and coordinate adjunct faculty.
• Serve as primary MBA inquiry contact and manage enrollment pipeline.
• Build employer and alumni partnerships for tuition reimbursement and cohorts.
• Lead ACBSP candidacy documentation and maintain faculty qualification tables.
• Represent the MBA program in governance and institutional service contexts.
