Job summary

Flint is seeking a consummate creative technologist who designs and codes to push the limits of websites. You will implement product flows you design, using Next.js and Tailwind CSS, and design systems that support AI-driven experiences.

You will lead UX sessions, work closely with the CEO and engineers to shape a unified visual identity, and help bring Flint's product vision to life in San Francisco.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional design engineering or frontend experience.
• Experience building in React.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating web product design.
• Regularly use AI IDEs like Cursor or Windsurf.
• An eye for great website design, guiding the AI to produce beautiful websites.
• Strong communication and upwards management skills.
• Comfort collaborating closely with execs and engineers.
• Excitement about working full-time, in-person in San Francisco.

Responsibilities

• Designing the Flint product and its core workflows.
• Building and maintaining the core frontend application using Next.js and Tailwind CSS.
• Implementing design systems and component libraries in Flint website templates.
• Leading UXR sessions, turning user feedback into product feedback seamlessly.
• Working closely with the CEO to develop product vision.
• Working closely with founders, engineers, and solutions engineers in weekly sprints.
• Collaborating with the designer to extend Flint's visual identity across the product and world.
