Job summary

Hyperscale Systems, Inc. seeks a Founding Forward Deployed Engineer for SF in-person work. You’ll own the technical side of enterprise sales, run technical discovery, design POCs, and travel to customer locations to support implementation through go-live.

You’ll blend pre-sales and post-sales work, collaborating with founders, GTM, and engineering. You’ll translate complex integration challenges into business value, shaping product direction from the field.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of software or full‑stack engineering experience at a high-growth B2B company.
• Built and shipped real products end to end, not just scripts or one-off integrations.
• Strong foundation in full-stack development, APIs, webhooks, and system architecture.
• Engineer who wants to talk to customers and is curious about sales/product, able to flex across areas.
• High agency with proactive problem solving and comfort with ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Technical Discovery and Solution Design: lead discovery calls with carrier IT/ops/executives and map customer workflows to integration requirements.
• Demos, Pilots, and Proof of Value: run tailored product demos, scope pilots, build ROI models, and resolve pilot issues with engineering.
• On-Site Customer Engagement: travel to customer sites ~25% and embed with operations to scope integrations.
• Technical Sales Support: answer RFPs and security docs, lead technical deep-dives, build integration timelines.
• Onboarding and Post-Sales: scope integrations, support initial deployment, train customers on configuration and tuning.
