Job summary

Weave in San Francisco is seeking the first filmmaker to tell the story of how top engineering teams transform into software factories. You will own video production from concept through delivery, crafting case studies, product stories, and event footage that resonate across social channels.

You will work with the CEO, CTO, and GTM leads, delivering fast-turnaround clips, long-form episodes, and ads that showcase the company. This role requires being in the SF office five days a week.

Qualifications

• You've shot and edited work that performed. Show us the numbers.
• You know what makes a clip travel on X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok.
• You move fast. Shoot today, ship tomorrow.
• You want to be in the office in SF, 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Make customers the hero. Shoot case studies and produce clips and reels.
• Show the inside. Capture days in the life of engineers and founders.
• Film our dinners and events; create recaps that drive future invites.
• Shoot the stunts and plan shot lists; deliver cuts within 24 hours.
• Go deep on the frontier; interview advanced AI startups and translate insights into engaging content.
• Make the ads: concept, shoot, edit, test and optimize for conversions.
• Own every length: 15-second clips to hour-long episodes across major platforms.
