Weave in San Francisco is seeking its first filmmaker to tell the story of how top engineering teams become software factories. You’ll shoot case studies, dinners, stunts, ads, and deeper looks at AI startups building what’s next.

You’ll own projects from concept to final cut, delivering clips for Meta, Google, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. Must-haves include proven shooting/editing with measurable results and a desire to be in the SF office five days a week.

• You’ve shot and edited work that performed; show us the numbers.
• Know what makes a clip travel on X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok.
• You move fast. Shoot today, ship tomorrow.
• You want to be in the office in SF, 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Make customers the hero. Shoot case studies with the teams that run on Weave. Turn one interview into a 3-minute film and 10 clips.
• Show the inside. Days in the life of engineers, founders, and our own team. Real work. No stock footage.
• Film our dinners. Capture the CTO dinners and events we run. Cut recaps that make people want the next invite.
• Shoot the stunts. Wooly, the token jar, whatever comes next. Plan the shot list, run camera, ship cuts within 24 hours.
• Go deep on the frontier. Sit down with the most advanced AI startups. Learn how they build. Make the series engineers binge.
• Make the ads. Creative for Meta, Google, and LinkedIn. Concept, shoot, edit, test, and double down on what converts.
• Own every length. 15‑second clips to hour‑long episodes, across X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
