Join an early-stage AI infrastructure startup as its first engineering hire. You will work directly with the founder to evolve a working AI-powered service business product into reliable infrastructure that can scale to a large user base.
Design and build scalable architecture, data models, and infrastructure for the product.
Develop the agent runtime, including orchestration, memory, verification, and multi-agent workflows.
Work across backend, infrastructure, frontend, and AI agents to deliver what the product needs.
Set technical direction and establish engineering practices as the team grows.
Ship improvements regularly to businesses using the product in recruiting and web agency services.
At least 2 years of experience shipping production software, or an equivalent record as a founder, solo builder, or exceptional early-career engineer.
Experience building and operating LLM or AI agent systems used by real customers.
Strong full-stack range, with the ability to take work from backend and infrastructure through to the user interface.
Experience scaling a working prototype into production infrastructure, and making technical decisions independently in an early-stage team.
A track record of shipping frequently and explaining the difficult technical decisions behind your work.
Founder experience or experience building agent orchestration, memory, evaluations, verification, or multi-agent workflows is valuable.
Based in Europe and willing to relocate to San Francisco within the first year.
Annual compensation is €80,000 to €140,000. Visa sponsorship and relocation support are available for the move to San Francisco.
Remote within Europe initially, with relocation to San Francisco expected within the first year.
