Job summary

Unknown is seeking a Founding Engineer to help build an enterprise HR/headcount platform from the ground up. You will partner with founders and early customers, shaping the product and delivering practical solutions as the startup seeks product-market fit.

You'll own substantial parts of the product, work across engineering, product, and support, and ship iteratively in a small team. On-site in Palo Alto, this early-stage role offers visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-stack web development experience.
• Experience with TypeScript/Node.js and MongoDB.
• Startup or founding-engineer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ship and iterate quickly while balancing delivery speed with quality.
• Partner with founders to design solutions for customer problems.
• Work directly with customers to diagnose and resolve product issues.
• Own substantial parts of the product, from design through production release.
• Contribute across engineering, product, and customer support in a small team.
