True Talent Solutions Partners is seeking an early-stage engineering leader to own product areas from design to production in a small, customer-focused team in Palo Alto. You will collaborate with the founding team and customers to shape the product, designing features with a balance of speed and quality.

Your background includes 2+ years of full-stack experience, TypeScript mastery, and comfort with low-latency systems. Prior startup or zero-to-one project experience will be valued.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of full-stack software engineering across frontend and backend.
• Proficiency in TypeScript; able to learn new stacks quickly; GCP or MongoDB experience is relevant.
• Hands-on experience designing low-latency systems and with transport/streaming tech.
• Strong systems design, data modeling, and CS fundamentals; degree in CS or engineering preferred.
• Experience at a venture-backed startup or owning zero-to-one projects.
• Product and user empathy, including understanding how users work with data.
• Experience in B2B software, particularly HR or finance, is valuable.

About the Role

Join an early-stage engineering team building software for enterprise headcount planning. You will own product areas from technical design through production, working closely with the founding team and customers to shape the product.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, ship, and iterate on product features while balancing speed and quality.

• Work with the founding team to develop solutions to customer problems.

• Talk with customers to diagnose and resolve product issues.

• Take independent ownership of substantial areas of the product, from design through production deployment.

• Contribute across engineering, product, and customer support in a small, early-stage team.

What We're Looking For

• At least 2 years of full-stack software engineering experience across frontend and backend development.

• Proficiency in TypeScript and the ability to learn new stacks quickly; experience with GCP or MongoDB is relevant.

• Hands-on experience designing low-latency systems and working with transport or streaming technologies.

• Strong systems design, data modeling, and computer science fundamentals; a degree in computer science or engineering is preferred.

• Experience at a venture-backed startup, as a founder or founding engineer, or owning zero-to-one projects in a larger organization.

• Product and user empathy, including an ability to consider how users work with data.

• Experience in B2B software, particularly HR or finance, is valuable.

• Comfort working in a small team, collaborating with customers and cross-functional partners, and taking initiative on projects beyond the planned roadmap.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary: $150,000 to $200,000 USD. Visa sponsorship is not available.
