Job summary

Hire'in Solutions is seeking a Founding Engineer to serve as technical owner across architecture, development, AI infrastructure, and customer-facing problem solving. You will build and own systems end-to-end, design distributed architectures, and work directly with customers to translate complex business challenges into scalable production solutions.

Source is an AI-native supply chain company building intelligent systems that automate inventory buying and selling. We are looking for a Founding Engineer who can operate as a technical owner across architecture, development, AI infrastructure, and customer-facing problem solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and own systems end-to-end from 0→1.
• Design distributed systems, data infrastructure, and AI/agentic workflows.
• Develop solutions involving RAG, entity resolution, agentic search, and LLM infrastructure.
• Work with customers to understand complex business problems and turn them into production solutions.
• Contribute hands-on using Python, TypeScript, or Node.js.
• Operate with high autonomy and help establish engineering standards and culture.

Required Qualifications

• Strong software engineering and computer science fundamentals.
• Experience with distributed systems, complex system design, or large-scale data systems.
• Hands-on experience with AI/LLM infrastructure, RAG, or agentic systems.
• Strong Python, TypeScript, or Node.js skills.
• Demonstrated end-to-end ownership and ability to work independently.
• Strong customer communication and product sense.
• Founding Engineer, MTS, Forward Deployed Engineer, or similar experience preferred.
• Strong engineering pedigree or a standout technical achievement is highly valued.
