Oho Group is building a platform where people and AI agents work together. We’re hiring a Founding Engineer to shape the backend infrastructure that lets agents execute complex tasks reliably, coordinate with each other and keep humans involved.

This role offers an equity participation tied to the company you help build, with direct collaboration with the founders and substantial product ownership. You will ship quickly while shaping the technical direction from day one.

Formación

• Production TypeScript/Node.js experience
• Strong systems fundamentals
• Experience with agent frameworks, workflow engines or distributed services advantageous

Responsabilidades

• Build the TypeScript/Node.js backend powering agent execution and real-time collaboration.
• Design orchestration, tool execution and state management for multi-step workflows.
• Make execution dependable through retries, recovery, concurrency controls and observability.
• Develop scalable APIs and data systems using PostgreSQL and ClickHouse.
• Take features from customer problems through architecture, implementation and production.

Build the systems that turn AI agents into a working AI workforce.

I’m partnering with an early-stage startup building a platform where people and AI agents work together. They’re hiring a Founding Engineer to shape the backend infrastructure that lets agents execute complex tasks reliably, coordinate with each other and keep humans involved.

This is a chance to own a substantial part of the product while the core architectural decisions are still yours to make. You’ll work directly with the founders, ship quickly and have equity participation tied to the company you help build.

What you’ll own

• Build the TypeScript/Node.js backend powering agent execution and real-time collaboration.
• Design orchestration, tool execution and state management for multi-step workflows.
• Make execution dependable through retries, recovery, concurrency controls and clear observability.
• Develop scalable APIs and data systems using PostgreSQL and ClickHouse.
• Take features from an ambiguous customer problem through architecture, implementation and production.

Who would thrive here

A strong backend or platform engineer who enjoys building from scratch and wants more influence over the product, architecture and engineering culture.

You’ll bring production TypeScript/Node.js experience and solid systems fundamentals. Experience building agent frameworks, workflow engines, developer platforms or distributed services would be particularly relevant.

We’re especially interested in engineers who can explain what they personally built, how it behaves when something fails and what it took to get it into users’ hands.
