Premier Global Links LLC is seeking a technically exceptional Founding Engineer to join an early-stage AI-native supply chain platform team. You will solve complex engineering problems, work directly with customers, and influence technical direction and culture from the ground up.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of software engineering experience, strong CS fundamentals, and experience with large-scale data or complex systems. On-site in San Francisco, CA is required.

This role offers the opportunity to solve complex engineering problems, work directly with customers, and help shape the technical direction and engineering culture from the ground up.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of software engineering experience, strong computer science fundamentals, experience with complex systems or large-scale data, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own complex technical problem areas from architecture through implementation and iteration.
• Design and build distributed systems, durable execution platforms, and scalable data solutions.
• Develop AI-driven capabilities including entity resolution, product matching, RAG-based product substitution, and pricing discovery.
• Work with large-scale, real-world data to automate workflows and improve operational processes.
• Collaborate directly with customers to understand business challenges and translate feedback into technical solutions.
• Build and improve core AI and engineering infrastructure using modern technologies.
• Work across product and engineering to solve ambiguous problems with minimal direction.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, Founding Engineer, or Systems Architect.
• Strong computer science fundamentals and demonstrated software engineering ability.
• Experience with complex system design, distributed systems, durable execution, data manipulation, or large datasets.
• Experience with Node.js, Python, or TypeScript.
• Customer-facing experience with strong communication skills.
• Strong product sense and commercial awareness.
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership and deliver high-impact technical work.
• Ability to work on-site in San Francisco, CA.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a Founding Engineer, Founding AI Engineer, Member of Technical Staff, or Forward Deployed Engineer.
• Experience working with AI, LLMs, RAG, agentic systems, or AI infrastructure.
• Experience at a strong engineering-focused technology company.
• Experience working with large-scale or complex real-world datasets.
• Demonstrated rapid career progression and increasing technical ownership.
• A standout technical, academic, or professional achievement demonstrating exceptional ability.

Work Schedule

On-site: Full-time position based in San Francisco, CA.

The role requires close collaboration with engineering, product, and customers in a fast-paced startup environment. Relocation support may be available.

Compensation

$150,000–$300,000 per year + significant equity opportunities.
