At Truvo, we are building a fully autonomous consumer insurance broker — saving the average household hundreds of dollars on insurance while better protecting people for the worst moments in their lives. We are rewiring a trillion-dollar industry that still runs on phone calls, fax machines, and legacy carrier systems. We raised our pre-seed, built a best-in-class AI-native broker platform with AI agents that quote, bind, and service policies autonomously, and are building out an exceptional team. We are looking for a Member of Technical Staff to go deep on AI agents and models — working on messy, high-impact problems that most people would walk away from, shipping from day one, and owning what you build end to end.

Your Day to Day at Truvo

• Deep Interactions: Sitting with our insurance team and building AI agents to automate workflows and building models to deeply understand insurance carrier appetite

• API Integration: Constructing deep API integrations into insurance carriers

• Shipping from Day One: Deploying to production and moving extremely quickly, while taking full responsibility for your projects

Requirements

• Problem Solver: You love working on messy, high-impact problems that most people would walk away from

• Builder and Owner: You take ideas from zero to one quickly. You thrive in ambiguity, figure things out, and ship

• Applied AI: Hands-on experience with LLMs and agents — building, fine-tuning, or deploying them in production

• Systems Thinker: Comfortable with integrations, APIs, and workflow automation. Insurance runs on legacy rails — you will help us rewire them

• Scrappy Engineer: Strong software engineering background. Experience building production‑grade systems, not just prototypes

• Nice to Have: Exposure to fintech/insurtech, RAG, embeddings, semantic search, or workflow automation
