Responsibilities

• Own technical customer support across AI avatar simulations, LMS, field experience, and compliance products.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues reported by professors, students, and university administrators.
• Manage customer communication through email, calls, and other support channels.
• Start with straightforward technical support requests and gradually take ownership of more complex issues.
• Build automations and internal tools to reduce technical support workload and improve operational efficiency.
• Transition into full-stack product development as support processes become more efficient.
• Design, develop, test, and ship product features used by students and faculty.
• Act as a product partner when needed and help translate customer needs into technical solutions.
• Contribute to architecture, engineering practices, and AI-agent-driven workflows.
• Work closely with founders and the engineering team to solve problems and move quickly.

Premier Global Links LLC is seeking an early-career Founding Engineer to join a growing AI technology company focused on healthcare education and simulation. This role is ideal for an autonomous full-stack engineer who enjoys solving customer problems, building product features, and working directly with founders in a fast-paced startup environment.

The ideal candidate will have 0–4 years of full-stack engineering experience, preferably with founding-team or early-stage startup experience, and the ability to work independently without detailed day-to-day direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Own technical customer support across AI avatar simulations, LMS, field experience, and compliance products.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues reported by professors, students, and university administrators.

• Experience working on a founding team, as a founder, or at an early-stage startup.
• Strong full-stack software development experience.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of ambiguous technical problems.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work 5 days per week in person in New York, NY.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with customers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working at a promising early-stage or YC-backed startup.
• Experience in EdTech or working with university environments.
• Experience with AI-powered products or AI-agent workflows.
• Background from a strong technical university.
• Experience building internal tools, automations, or customer-facing software.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and take on increasing technical responsibility.

Work Schedule

On-site: Full-time position based in Midtown Manhattan, New York, NY, with an expectation of working in person 5 days per week.

This role involves close collaboration with founders, customers, and the engineering team in a fast-moving startup environment.

Compensation

$160,000–$200,000 per year.

Additional flexibility may be available for exceptional candidates.
