Centerpoint Medical Center of Independence, MO is launching a new ACGME-accredited Emergency Medicine residency and is seeking a Founding Emergency Medicine Program Director who will also serve as Assistant Designated Institutional Official (Assistant DIO).

This role blends academic leadership with institutional impact, offering significant protected administrative time, strong GME infrastructure support, and an opportunity to shape both a new residency and the broader GME enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design of the EM residency curriculum and culture as Founding Program Director.
• Provide oversight of GME programs as Assistant DIO and ensure ACGME compliance.
• Maintain clinical Emergency Medicine duties with a sustainable schedule.
• Shape GME enterprise-wide strategy and collaborate with executive leadership.
