Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in Lakewood Ranch, FL seeks an experienced leader to serve as the founding Program Director for a new Emergency Medicine residency. You will guide the ACGME application, shape curriculum, and establish an innovative training environment at our West Coast Florida hospital.

The role begins as a consulting position during accreditation and transitions to a .5 FTE Program Director role with remaining time in clinical Emergency Medicine.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in ABEM or AOBEM with eligibility for active GME oversight.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership in an ACGME-residency.
• Strong interpersonal and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the ACGME application and accreditation process.
• Design program structure, curriculum, and educational strategy.
• .5 FTE administrative leadership complemented by clinical Emergency Medicine practice.
