August is building AGI for law in New York City. We’re seeking a Founding Designer to own the design function end-to-end, shaping product experience, refining our brand identity, and setting the design culture.

Collaborate with founders, engineers, and legal experts to craft intuitive AI workflows for global clients. You’ll lead UI/UX, visual identity, and marketing materials, translating complex AI workflows into simple experiences while building a cohesive visual language across product,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional design experience in product, brand, or both.
• Strong portfolio showcasing polished product design and/or brand systems.
• Proficiency with modern design tools (Figma or equivalent) and rapid iteration.
