Job summary

Factagora is seeking an engineer who builds the product users experience directly, shaping frontend and backend features for AI solutions that serve legal and financial professionals. You’ll translate complex tech into an intuitive product experience and ensure feedback loops into next releases.

You’ll collaborate across teams to design APIs, build a design system, and shape UX for real workflows, with a focus on user research and MVPs at a pre-Series A startup.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software development experience or equivalent practical ability.
• Strong frontend stack: React, TypeScript, Next.js or similar.
• Experience integrating with backend via REST or GraphQL.
• Ability to view the product from the user's perspective and surface improvements.
• Experience visualizing complex information through interaction.

Responsibilities

• Frontend and backend feature development for AI solutions built on the Temporal Knowledge Graph.
• Uncovering and implementing product improvements through user interviews and feedback analysis.
• API design, client integration, and performance optimization.
• Building and maintaining our design system and UI components.
• Designing UX for the workflows of journalists, researchers, and AI power users.
• Collaborating with Research Engineer and Data Infra teams to turn research into features.
