Job summary

HappyRobot is seeking a data-focused analytics professional to join our team. You will measure how model changes and product features influence real-world performance, design experiments, and convert complex data into actionable insights that guide product and ML roadmaps.

You’ll work with Product, Engineering, and ML teams to evaluate experiments, analyze millions of conversations, and build dashboards that reveal value for clients.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Data Science, Product Analytics or a highly quantitative product role.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience with experimental design, A/B testing, statistics and causal inference.
• Ability to translate ambiguous product questions into rigorous analyses and actionable recommendations.
• Strong product instincts and the ability to link data to customer impact.
• Experience partnering with Product, Engineering, or ML teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and meticulous attention to detail.
• Founder mindset: ownership, independence, curiosity.

Responsibilities

• Define and track product, feature, and agent-level metrics.
• Design, run, and interpret A/B tests for model changes, prompts, and workflows.
• Measure how agent performance affects client outcomes and operational efficiency.
• Connect offline model evaluations with production performance and real-world impact.
• Conduct deep analyses across conversations, workflows, and product usage to identify opportunities.
• Investigate anomalies, perform root-cause analyses, and suggest improvements.
• Build dashboards and self-serve tools to help teams understand performance.
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
