Job summary

Broccoli AI in San Francisco is seeking a data/analytics engineer to own our data layer. You will build pipelines, model data into clean tables, and create the source-of-truth library that powers dashboards and product analytics.

You’ll work closely with Strategy & Ops and engineering to ensure fast, trustworthy data for customer dashboards, BI and cross-customer benchmarks, with a focus on data quality, documentation, and scalable architecture.

Qualifications

• 4–8+ years in data or analytics engineering with end-to-end pipelines.
• Strong SQL and Python; hands-on with ETL tooling and orchestration.
• Experience with a columnar warehouse (ClickHouse preferred).
• Data modeling as a craft; you design usable tables and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Build and run data pipelines ingesting from all sources into ClickHouse.
• Model data into clean, documented tables and manage entity resolution.
• Create a source-of-truth library and canonical metric definitions.
• Make data human- and AI-ready with clear structure and docs.
• Maintain freshness checks, quality tests, and alerts for pipelines.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses and deep-dive investigations as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure scalable, usable data schemas.
