Job summary

Broccoli AI is seeking an experienced software engineer to own and build AI-powered customer support workflows. You will design, implement, and iterate on AI solutions, integrate systems, and maintain a knowledge base that powers fast, accurate responses.

Collaborating with Technical Support, Customer Success and Product teams, you will identify recurring issues, automate tasks, and deliver scalable tooling to improve the customer experience across enterprise and small-business clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering or related technical experience.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong coding, debugging and maintenance skills.
• Experience building integrations, APIs and databases.
• Hands-on experience with AI-powered apps, LLMs, or workflow automation.
• Product-minded approach to solving customer problems.
• Strong problem solving from idea to implementation.
• Experience with customer support tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve AI workflows to resolve common customer questions and Tier 1 issues.
• Own the knowledge base, ensuring accurate, navigable docs for customers and AI.
• Develop the customer-facing support platform and tooling.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and build integrations.
• Investigate recurring issues and AI failures to find root causes.
• Collaborate with Tech Support, Customer Success and Product Engineering to enhance the experience.
• Create reporting and dashboards to monitor ticket trends and performance.
• Support enterprise customers and scale routine support.
