Job summary

Broccoli is hiring a data/analytics engineer to build the unified data layer powering customer dashboards and internal analytics. You’ll own architecture, tooling choices, and the trust in every number, enabling reliable BI and AI-driven insights.

You’ll model data, define canonical views, and ensure data quality with freshness checks and alerts, working closely with Strategy & Ops and engineering. 4–8+ years experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 4–8+ years in data or analytics engineering with production pipelines responsibility.
• Strong SQL and Python; hands-on with ETL tooling (Airbyte, Fivetran, Dagster, dbt, or similar).
• Experience with a columnar data warehouse (ClickHouse preferred; BigQuery/Snowflake/Redshift acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Build and run data pipelines end to end.
• Ingest data from multiple sources into ClickHouse and manage the flow.
• Model data into clean, documented tables with entity resolution.
• Develop source-of-truth library with canonical views and metric definitions.
• Create data models and documentation so dashboards and AI queries are trustworthy.
• Collaborate with engineering on schemas, events, and warehouse changes.
